african-american-woman-computer Happy Sunday beautiful people! It’s the last week-end before Christmas, and I hope you are taking the time to enjoy these last moments of the year, in whatever form or way is best for you and yours. My family has suffered a great loss this past Friday, and as we grieve and mourn, we are comforted by the thought that despite it all, Life is still beautiful. So today, I’m happy to come back with my weekly 411, and my usual ranting and raving, because as long as there is life, there is hope…

  1. The Sony hack was all over the news (and still is)! And it confirmed our worst gender gap fears when revealing Jennifer Lawrence is paid less than her co-stars, as explained in this Daily Beast article ;
  2. The Wall Street Journal wrote this great (and a bit smile-inducing) guide for men on how to deal with women at work;
  3. Tired of sitting down at work? Fast Company writes about this awesome futuristic office (no chairs involved);
  4. If you think you aren’t getting enough sleep, well, you may be right…The Washington Post reveals Americans are trading sleep for work, and it’s literally killing us…
  5. While we’re into revelations, The New York Times answers the question as to why U.S. Women are leaving work behind;
  6. I was a bit surprised by this Huffington Post article that shows the U.S. as being the most anti-worker nation of the world;
  7. As we’re getting ready to close this year, Black Enterprise writes about the 14 most talked about career moves of 2014;
  8. Levo League lists 10 habits of high-net worth women;
  9. Great news! Tech Crunch made me smile when I read about the expansion of Girls Who Code to get more women into Computer Science majors;
  10. Last but not least, Bullish tells you how to attack 2015 ike a badass.

Happy Sunday, and much love!
