Wunderlist app – thatcareergirl.com
I wrote this morning about why we should all have a “stop doing” list. Well, we should still keep our to-do lists though, and speaking of to-do lists, one of my most favorite to-do apps is Wunderlist. Basically, Wunderlist is a desktop and mobile to-do list manager, with apps available for Android, iOs, Windows, OS X, and Linux. Well, apart from the technical lingo (which obviously did not come from me, thanks Lifehacker), it’s simple enough (enough for me), supports to-do’s, reminders, and even the possibility to star important tasks.
Well, it has now been enhanced to include real-time sync, public lists, and even a new interface! Among the improvements are easier to create lists, better navigation, perks like being able to add comments or voice notes to your tasks. And if you cringe at the thought of your sister-in-law having access to your account, you can share tasks using the Public Lists feature.

Seamed Detail Skirt – $17.99 – jcpenney.com
I am so excited about today’s Work It fashion pick! This Worthington seamed detail skirt from JC Penney is not only sharp and original, what with its creative seaming detail combining a bright yellow hue with a cooler black side panel.
Love love the look of this skirt, whose back turns into a uniform yellow color. And the price is just as exciting, as it’s on clearance for…$17.99, you read right, $17.99!
Great office-friendly fashion pick!

Stop Doing List – cindygrasso.com
Happy Thursday!
I’m a to-do list girl. I like to start the day with my to-do’s ordered like ducks in a row, with pretty asterisks and color codes next to them. Don’t judge me! Yet, as effective (and compulsively entertaining as my endless lists may be), they’re not always as effective, for the simple reason that in the midst of all the things I have to do, are all the unspoken, unwritten and unrealized things I (along with the rest of us professional mortals) should STOP doing…
Productivity experts have been talking for a while about the “stop doing” or “don’t do” list. So I tried it, and while at first it was significantly less pretty than my “duck in a row”, ordered to-do lists, it works…Actually writing down limiting attitudes and beliefs like procrastination, stress, complaining, lack of team trust or fear of recognition, is all but a comfortable process. At first…Yet, the sheer act of making such a list, sticking it where you can see it most of the time, and actually holding yourself accountable to it, makes a difference, and a good one at that…
What are some of the things you should stop doing? Do you tend to work alone rather than seek the help and contribution of others? Are you afraid to ask for feedback? Do you fail to pay attention to details? Ask yourself the difficult questions, and don’t be afraid to write down those things you should no longer be doing. Getting better at what you do is not just a matter of doing more of what works, but also doing less of what doesn’t…

Pavlok wristband – yuufit.es
It’s Wednesday, and you know you’ve been avoiding the gym for the past few days. Well, you may just need your very own Pavlok wristband…And if you think it may have a jolting recording of your mother’s voice, well, think worse…it provides a jolt alright, but this one is of a more electric nature!
The Pavlock bracelet, due out in 2015 (although prototypes are available for purchase or pre-order), literally shocks you into getting off your bum to hit the gym. Prototypes are now available for purchase for $249.99 (or $149.99 for pre-ordering), and while the prospect of getting zapped does not excite me, I have a few people in mind who could use the extra motivation…
Esthetically, I hope it can get blinged out a bit or somewhat merchandised towards the feminine market a bit more, but overall I’d say not too bad for a personal coach on your wrist…
