Heading to the gym after work? I’ve been using the Fitbit app to motivate me to stay active. Fitbit is an app that uses Bluetooth to sync all your fitness information, just like how many calories were in that Salted Caramel Mocha, or how many steps you just went up huffing and puffing that is…), with your phone, as well as your computer. And if you’re trying to uplift your mood as well, you can also log in your mood (yup, you read right!), and compare it to your friend Jeaninne who’s always smiling (yup, that one)…
The app is free on Iphone and Android, and can be used in conjunction with the Fitbit One tracker. Go on, get your exercise on!

For our lunch break today, we are in awe of this Michael Kors python wrap dress. I love love Michael Kors designs, and this python wrap dress is no exception. I love wrap dresses in general, because they are not only easy to pull off and dressy for all occasions, but are also flattering for most figures (especially larger figures on top like myself).
I also love the long sleeves on this dress, which are great for winter and spring. And to boost, it’s on sale for $72, down from $120! Can you say be-au-ti-ful?

Eat lunch with co-workers – visualphotos.com
For our lunch pow-wow today, we’re asking ourselves the question: “Should you eat lunch with your co-workers or team?” In today’s corporate environment, most of our work is done in teams. Not only do we work together, we spend upwards of 8 hours together, separated by only a few inches and degrees of separation…And while some teams work well together, others do not get along so well. Yet the constant in corporate is that we have to co-exist, day in and day out…
So how much of co-existing is exactly required for teams to be effective? Are we better perceived when we display team player characteristics? And since there is no free lunch, does that include eating lunch with our co-workers/team every day?
Any thoughts?

I love love this oldie but goodie that I’ve used for years now, and is the only thing that works for me under harsh winter conditions, and even on the balmiest of summer days. The cult-favorite Smith’s Rosebud salve is always on my list of classics, and always featured somewhere in my posts. It’s great for lips and is a great primer for your favorite lipstick.
It’s $6.00 at Sephora, and not only heals your lips, but also helps with those ashy elbows and knees right before that 8am update meeting (it happens!). Chapped lips, dry skin, ashy elbows, even minor scraps and irritations or make-up fixes, you name it, this little guy does it…
As they say, it’s the “little things”, right?
