For our coffee break,we are all over this marbled glass garden pot from Anthropologie.
Whether at home or in the office, I love my decor to reflect who I am. So I fell in love with this marbled glass garden pot, which would look just as good on my desk, right by my computer screen. Like I always say, if you can’t be outdoors, bring the outdoors in!
Love the bright colors contrasting with the delicate make of this pot. And even if I forget to water the plants, it can always hold my pencils (while I try and justify how little of a green thumb I have).

I know after a long week of hard work, extreme coffee consumption, and mommy duties, I get seriously excited at the prospect of having two (somewhat) free days out of the office. So you have a BIG deadline at work tomorrow, and you brought work home, hoping to get to that quarterly report some time tonight. And here it is, the evening is going by faster than expected. By the time you spend quality time with your family, attend to a couple of chores here and there, there you are, plopped on the couch, unable to move a muscle. Next thing you know, you are reaching for a glass of wine, and there is your working evening! So how does a busy corporate sister manage to remain productive after-hours?
Speaking for myself, staying productive after hours is always a HUGE challenge, as my priority is to catch up with my babies and dear hubby first. Then come the mandatory chores to keep the house looking like it did survive a hurricane but is still livable. And then comes my number one productivity frenemy, the…COUCH! Beware, coming anywhere close to the couch is a sure gateway to unproductively. The more comfortable the couch, the better worse…
What’s worked for me over time is the simple, tried-and-true method of recharging my batteries and favoring early mornings rather than late nights. So set your bed time earlier than usual, try to fit in one or two “mindless’ tasks for the evening, and prepare to start your morning on quite the productive note…
