Ok, so it’s right after work, and you’re stepping out of your bathroom stall at work, and here is your co-worker in all her glory, keeping up with her full dental hygiene program…I mean, the whole nine, brushing, gargling, flossing, making faces in the mirror while inspecting her back teeth, all while you’re trying to keep your gaze down on your hands so as not to catch a glimpse of her exposed left molar. As much as you may respect her dental diligence, it can be just a bit awkward…

I personally am conflicted on this one. I used to do the whole dental hygiene thing at work, until well…running into my co-workers right as I was spitting out toothpaste felt kinda…different. So I started investing in sugar-free gums…

Should you brush your teeth in public restrooms at work? How comfortable are you having small talk with your boss as you’re carefully dislodging chunks of your tuna lunch from your lower teeth (not to mention the slight, yet probable, possibility that any of these may fly in her face)? Or is a good ol’ piece of  Trident (tropical fruit flavor) probably the safest bet, until your company can invest in private restrooms?

What do you think?
