Dear Santa, I’ve been a good corporate sister, and you know how much I need my coffee, right?

For all the coffee addicts like myself, and especially for the unconditional Starbucks devotees, you may just have to add some space on your already crowded Christmas list for the Verismo Starbucks coffee maker. Although the phenomenal, homemade Starbucks drinks’ coffee machine, is now over a year old, it is still very much a treat for those of us who just can’t do without our Caramel Macchiatos, or my personal favorite, the White Chocolate Mocha…hmmmm…

From reviews of the Verismo, it appears to be quite user-friendly, and to replicate the taste of store-bought coffee pretty accurately. However, priced at $159 (a reduction from the original $200 when it first came out last year), it is not necessarily a cost saver, as compared to what your regular coffee run would cost you. If you factor in the price of the coffee pods and syrup, your average cost per cup is pretty comparable to the in-store beverage…except, can you really put a price on waking up on a snowy Saturday morning to the smell of your favorite Caramel brulee latte, all in your pajamas, slippers and uncombed hair (ok, please comb your hair)….
