I’m blessed to know many amazing working women who thrive each and every day in their lives, careers and/or businesses. From my own sister to friends and family, these women set the bar pretty high when it comes to living and working on purpose. However, when it comes to the holidays, I find myself scratching my curls to figure out what Christmas gift to get these ladies who already have so much going on for themselves.
What do you get a thriving, ambitious and successful working woman who already has everything, or at least almost everything? This is the question I spent quite some figuring out. This year, I’m sharing 12 of my favorite gifts for working women who have everything, as inspired by my own Christmas gifting list:
-
An efficient planner
For busy, thriving working women, organization is absolutely key! Having the right tools to get and stay organized can make a world of difference for these ladies. Hence, one of my absolute favorite items to gift working women around me, Erin Condren’s Lifetime Planner. This planner is personalized and customized to fit the user’s unique schedule and lifestyle. It also allows for monthly and yearly planning, and comes with beautiful quotes and notes, as well as customizable layouts, stickers and extras included. It’s the perfect tool for working women to get their organization on, and in style!

A good book
Nothing like a good book to inspire, motivate and encourage an ambitious working women to keep going and take her work and life to the next level. This is why a good book always comes in handy as a holiday gift.
This year, at the top of my book gifting list, is my favorite FLOTUS’ new memoir “Becoming Michelle Obama”. For my business sisters, I’d get the Michael Gerber’s “The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About it”. My favorite classics to offer every year fr the holidays also include the cult book “We should all be feminists” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, “Big Magic” by Elizabeth Gilbert, as well as “Smart Women Finish Rich” by David Bach. Of course, I cannot forget my own book “Girl, Take Back Your Career“, available on Amazon.

As busy working women, it can be a challenge to find the time and energy to shop for the right products for us. Taking a trip to the store when you’re struggling with your to-do list or getting the kids from school can be nearly impossible at all times. Hence, monthly subscription boxes to ease the shopping process.
The principle is simple. You basically pay a monthly fee, which allows you to sample products without having to commit to the full price at retail. You also don’t have to leave the privacy of your home to get the best items fitted to your lifestyle, at your convenience. While there’s always the risk that you may order something that doesn’t fit you, or looks different than advertised, the overall positives outweigh the cons.
After marriage, kids and career, my days of leisurely shopping and comparing prices as I strolled through malls and boutiques were definitely over. I frankly had no desire to drag my babies to stores filled with people. Neither did I want to spend extra time looking for what I needed. That’s how I fell in love with subscription boxes. Plus the fact that you kinda get a surprise every single month in your mailbox…
Here are my 10 favorite subscription boxes for working women:
- Sparkle, Hustle & Grow
If you’re a female entrepreneur, or have a side hustle, the Sparkle, Hustle & Growmonthly box is for you! Every month, you get four to six items, including fun and chic accessories, desk supplies, as well as books to help you be more productive at work. You also get access to powerful online resources along with being automatically added to their Facebook group.
- ShoeDazzle
I admit, I’m shoe-obsessed! While parenting and the need for more conscious budgeting has slowed my shoe habit down over time, I’m still very much into beautiful yet practical footwork. ShoeDazzlehas been my go-to for shoes for quite a while now. The principle is simple. For a monthly membership fee of $39.99, you get to pick a pair of your favorite footwear among the selection offered every 30 days. Pretty convenient and a nice treat for shoe-lovers like myself!
The website also offers a selection of apparel, accessories and bags to choose from as well. As a monthly subscriber or VIP member, you also save on the prices of items you choose to purchase.
- JustFab
JustFab is similar to ShoeDazzle, as it works on a monthly membership basis as well. In the same way, you get your own personalized shopping boutique along with VIP credits to allow you to purchase the items of your choice.
Similarly, it offers apparel, accessories and bags. One additional common feature is your ability to “skip the month”, or elect not to pay the monthly fee and purchase a new item during the month of your choice.
- Fabletics
Fableticsis the athletic alter ego to Just Fab created by Kate Hudson. It works on the same monthly membership system. However, this is all about athletic wear for women and offers plus-size options as well.
- Adore Me
Adore Me offers affordable quality lingerie on a monthly membership basis as well. The principle is also pretty simple. You take a quiz to assess your lingerie needs, and get matched with various options personalized for you.
As a member, you get to pick a lingerie set of your choice every month. Your 6thmonth is at no cost to you, and exchanges as well as shipping are also free.
- Curlbox

Smith’s Rosebud Salve – $6.00 – sephora.com
‘Tis the winter season, and nothing like the gusty winds and sub-zero temperatures of the Northeast to make you walk around all dried-skin and chapped lips. Bad combination…
I love love this oldie but goodie that I’ve used for years now, and is the only thing that works for me under harsh winter conditions, and even on the balmiest of summer days. The cult-favorite Smith’s Rosebud salve is always on my list of classics, and always featured somewhere in my posts. It’s great for lips and is a great primer for your favorite lipstick.
It’s $6.00 at Sephora, and not only heals your lips, but also helps with those ashy elbows and knees right before that 8am update meeting (it happens!). Chapped lips, dry skin, ashy elbows, even minor scraps and irritations or make-up fixes, you name it, this little guy does it…
As they say, it’s the “little things”, right?

Ashton Blouse – www.thelimited.com
For our coffee chat today, I fell in love with the Ashton Blouse from the Limited. January is so grey and frankly depressing, so the last thing we need is to have our wardrobe be just as…grey and depressing! Well, this easy breezy, office-worthy basic blouse from The Limited in this bright orange hue may be just what we need.I particularly love the color which is a welcome change for all the winter darks! The pointed collar with split V-neck button down is a nice modern twist on the traditional button-down, and the full sleeves with buttoned roll-tab give us options…And don’t we just love options!
It’s currently priced at $49.95, but you can get 50% off your highest priced item and 30% off each additional item if you purchase more than one item. Can you say deal?

Maybelline BB Cream – Photo: maybelline.com
For our beauty buy of the week, we are recommending the Maybelline BB Cream to wear under your daily make-up, or just alone for those blah days when you really don’t feel like bothering with “putting your face on”. I personally use the “Deep” shade, and have to say that I absolutely love it! The coverage is very natural and sheer, and it gives you this extra healthy glow that you need on grey January days! For an extra glow, I wear it under my regular foundation, and on those days when I’m extra tired or just have 5 minutes to get out the door, I slather it on, put on some mascara and fresh lipstick, and voila! Plus it’s SPF 20, so no need to bother with your regular sunscreen!
And at $7.99 at most drugstores, you can’t go wrong…
